Heather: This was technically the first costume Nate and I did together, so it holds a special place in our zombie/horror-loving hearts. Many, many thanks go to our friend Ashley for the makeup jobs (and Nate's Smoker tongue XD) and for joining us as a Mercy Hospital zombie - also to her and Sara for helping my take my ridiculous claws off afterwards too. That was an adventure!
Nate: As Heather mentioned this was the first costume we ever did, and I'm pretty sure it was my first costume altogether! I was rather nervous about cosplaying in general because I don't like attention brought to myself. However I will never forget seeing the horror/disgust in kid's faces looking upon my zombie-ish person. I believe one person asked me "Are those your intestines?", referring to my long dangly tongue. After that point I thought, Ok this is pretty cool. Maybe I should do it more often.
